Announcing support for Arbitrum
We're excited to announce that we've added support for Arbitrum. Projects can now create branded stablecoins on Arbitrum to power payments, gaming, rewards, and other applications. All assets issued with Brale can also expand to Arbitrum starting today.
Issue Stablecoins on Arbitrum
Brale enables businesses and communities to create stablecoins in minutes by abstracting tokenization, gas fees, private key management, and all of the underlying technology. Stablecoins are backed by reserves held in Brale's regulated treasury infrastructure, with shared program revenue.
Fund stablecoins with off-chain or on-chain assets while making them available on Brale's exchange. Stablecoins are fully backed by cash, cash equivalents, and short-term U.S. government bonds held in U.S. financial institutions, with monthly reserve reports published by a third-party independent accounting firm.
Use Stablecoins on Arbitrum
Stablecoins can be minted to your platform, third-party custodians, or on-chain protocols to make them available to end users. Brale is integrated with a growing ecosystem of wallets, exchanges, and applications that already support Arbitrum.
About Arbitrum
Arbitrum is a Layer 2 scaling solution for the Ethereum blockchain. It is designed to improve the scalability and efficiency of the Ethereum network by enabling faster and cheaper transactions while maintaining the security and decentralization of the Ethereum mainnet.
Arbitrum is the largest L2 by TVL, users, and many other metrics, with a vibrant ecosystem of partners and applications. In 2023, Arbitrum launched Arbitrum Orbit, infrastructure allowing projects to deploy their own custom chain, leveraging the same technology that powers Arbitrum One and Arbitrum Nova.
Projects launching their own chains using Arbitrum's infrastructure can also partner with Brale to issue stablecoins to act as the primary fee token on their network and earn revenue on the underlying reserves.
